Character Design - Drunken Man
This character design was created for my final year illustration assignment during my BFA studies.
In executing this particular project, I employed a caricature style infused with a textural, painterly rendering technique. This approach was carefully chosen to help immerse the viewer in the atmosphere surrounding the assignment's theme a drunken man.
To enhance the storytelling aspect, I incorporated essential details such as a flying slipper, a barking dog, a torn jacket, and bottles of alcohol in his pocket, etc. These elements collectively contribute to the narrative and bring the character to life.
